We hope these profiles encourage participation, inspiration and collaboration within and around Toledo.

Rachael Chappuies

Visual Artist

A recently graduated two dimensional studies student and a sales associate at the Toledo Museum of Art, Rachel Chappuies has a really sharp eye for detail. Her 1920s fashion-inspired charcoal drawings of friends which was her latest series are incredibly in-depth and unique, providing a nice balance of beauty and grit. We caught up with Chappuies to talk about her past projects, being accepted into the Toledo Area Artists Show the first year she applied and what inspires her.
