The Lumberyard Winery & Supply will feature A Sip of History - Breweries of the Maumee River featuring historian W. Taylor Moyer. 

A Sample of the Talk: The Maumee River has had a storied history of breweries along its banks. Moyer will specifically speak on Defiance's Christ Diehl Brewing Co., Napoleon's Tietjens Brewing Co., and Toledo's famous Buckeye Brewing Co. Original bottles and shipping crates from these breweries will be on display along with photos and additional information. 

A Sample of the Speaker: W. Taylor Moyer is a board of trustee for the Henry County Historical Society and the Fallen Timbers Battlefield Commission in Maumee, Ohio. Moyer is the Senior Humanities Teacher at Toledo School for the Arts. Moyer encourages anyone interested in Northwest Ohio history to attend and support local establishments and organizations who support and promote our history. 

This event is free and open to the public. Lumberyards fantastic wines will be available for purchase! Seating is limited so grab that table!
