The Portage River Festival is an established event in Elmore Ohio, that people look forward to all year. Hostelling International, Toledo area, has tours for leisure bicyclist with routes of 10, 31, 62, 100 miles, offering distances for all riders - novice to expert. There is live entertainment on stage, Flea & Craft market, Lawn Mower Pulling contest, Kiddy Tractor Pull, Talent show, Heckman Log House to visit. Elmore Depot is open with model railroad displays in the visitor waiting room, memorabilia of an earlier time in the Media Room. Plenty of food, antique cars, trucks, tractors and two cycle engines.
