Come and enjoy the celebration of Toledo’s Historic Old West End during the 41st Annual Historic Old West End Festival. This year we will feature 7 historic home and mansion tours; an Art Fair on the grounds of the Toledo Museum of Art Glass Pavilion; wonderful food, beer garden and entertainment; garage and yard sales and children’s activities available throughout the weekend.

Saturday at 10 a.m. the 103rd anniversary of the King Wamba Carnival Parade will kick-off the weekend. Particpants from throughout the Midwest journey to Toledo to create a visual odyssey of art cars, floats, performance art and musical presentations.  A coronation ceremony in front of the Historic Mansion View Inn will crown this year’s King & Queen. The parade route is listed in the Festival Guide. Also on Saturday only there will be an Antique Car Show under the shaded trees of Toledo Spain Park in front of the Park Lane Luxury Apartments.

On Sunday morning there will be The Old West End/Toledo Symphony Stampede - a 5K run and walk sponsored by both the Old West End and the Toledo Symphony. This event will feature musical groups from the Toledo Symphony at various locations throughout the course to entertain the participants. For participation and race information, contact the Stampede Race Committee on-line at www.toledooldwestend.com or 419-242-3433.
