The Toledo Area Aboriginal Research
Society will open it’s season on Thursday, September 22, 2011, in the Manor
House, Wildwood Metropark,  5100 West
Central Avenue, Toledo, Ohio at 7:00 p.m.

Following a brief business meeting,
we are pleased to present our guest speaker: 

 BARBARA LAIRD, who  has had a diverse and interesting career that
ranges from teaching at both Toledo’s  St. John’s and McAuley High Schools; several
positions at the University of Toledo and Bowling Green University; Instructor
and Academic Advisor at Zayed University, Dubai, United Arab Emirates; and
Instructor, School of Translation and Interpretation, Shandon University,
Weihai, China.  These are just a few of
Barbara’s experiences.  Her focus at the
TAARS meeting will be a power point presentation of China’s many wonders.

The topic of Ms. Laird’s presentation
is:  A GLIMPSE INTO CHINA’S TREASURES

TAARS welcomes guests to this free
presentation.  Light refreshments will be
served.
