Westfield Shopping Town (Franklin Park)
Westfield Shopping Town (Franklin Park) satisfies a wide variety of shopping needs in the Toledo area. For more than 30 years, the mall has achieved great success and continues to grow with a recent expansion completed in May 2005.
This $117million dollar addition on the south side of the mall increased the square footage of the center by approximately 40%. Westfield now has a footprint of 1.22 million square feet.
You’ll love the amazing new Family Lounge equipped with nursing stations, baby changing tables, bottle warmers, microwaves, very comfortable rest areas, children’s DVDs and more.
This expansion also includes two multi-level parking garages, a new food court that holds more than 700 people complete with fireplace plus a new 16-screen movie cinema, Franklin Park 16: Cinema De Lux.
This state of the art cinema has 16 theaters with a total of 2,700 custom-designed seats in stadium style arrangements with Dolby Digital sound. The cinema has two private function rooms for party and special events, a lounge area with a baby grand piano and two “Director’s Halls,” offering patrons the ultimate movie experience. You can enjoy leather rocking recliners, reserved seating with escort, live pre-show intros, themed murals and express VIP concessions service with unique food and beverage offerings including Starbucks coffee. Good food continues inside the theater at Chatters restaurant which also features a full service bar with beer, wine and specialty drinks.
Westfield always features a different experience thanks to a wide variety of new stores where shoppers can find exactly what they’re looking for.
If you’re into books, movies and/or music, then Borders features a coffee bar and café where you can explore approximately 126 miles of books, media and music (laid end to end of course).
Build-A-Bear Workshop features interactive fun that invites guests from ages 3 to 103 to create their own customized stuffed animals. Select from more than 30 animals starting at only $10 and create your very own stuffed animal!
Pottery Barn is a home furnishings retailer founded on the idea that home furnishings should be exceptional in comfort, style and quality. You can always find good food at Westfield, which now includes four new eateries: US Bistro (salads/sandwiches), New Orleans Creole (traditional Cajun cuisine), Baja Bistro (Mexican) and Famous Famiglia (pizza/Italian).
Three new restaurants will also give you a wide variety of dining experiences (Opening Summer 2005).
At Bravo! Cucina Italiana, you can watch your food being made exhibition style as cooks prepare fresh, made-to-order authentic Italian food.
Champps Restaurant and Bar provides an extensive menu of approximately 86 menu items in an exciting environment through the use of videos, music, sports and fun contests/promotions.
You don’t have to be Irish to enjoy the Claddagh Irish Pub, an authentic full-menu Irish restaurant. Brookstone, Forever 21, Select Comfort, Steve Madden, and Yankee Candle won't be open until fall 2005 and Hollister is planned to open in late 2006.
