Get Creative: Paint Your Own PotteryPublished: 03/07/2012 7:00 am
The Art Supply Depō is pleased to present the first “paint your own pottery class” to be held at their store and studio on Saturday, March 17th from 2-3pm. Paint a mug, plate, cereal bowl, or two 6" tiles using brightly colored, food-safe ceramic paints. The class is recommended for children ages 5-12, but all ages are welcome. Children under 5 should be accompanied by a parent who can stay to assist the child to assist with through the painting process. Parents of children attending workshop are also welcome to register and paint their own ceramic masterpiece. Pieces will be fired and ready for pick up the following Saturday, March 24th. The cost is $20 per participant. Class fee includes all materials, firing, and instruction on how to use the paints and mix colors.
To enroll in the class, call The Art Supply Depō at 419.720.6462 or stop by the store. Class fees should be paid by cash or credit card at the time of registration. The Art Supply Depō is located at 29 S. St. Clair, downtown Toledo, in the historic warehouse district. Ample street parking for class participants and visitors is available in front of the store on St. Clair.
