We deliver quality workforce development services designed to meet the needs of area businesses. Our partnership with economic development and other business and educational organizations ensures easy access to the help new and expanding companies demand.
The Source can provide recruiting services including posting job orders, pre-screening applicants, on-site interviewing and basic pre-employment testing. We can help with mass recruiting, worker training and information on a variety of incentive programs. Additionally, companies have access to events such as job fairs, employer summits and workshops, labor market information and other data essential for company growth.
For Job Seekers
Area job seekers can come to The Source to learn the skills necessary to find a job or move on to a better job. Free workshops including Resume Writing, Interviewing Hints, Career Exploration, Transferable Skills and others help ready individuals by providing them with key job search tools. The Source also provides access to computers and high-speed Internet, resume software, fax and copy machines, laser printers and more.
Job search and matching is available through the SCOTI (Shared Career Opportunities and Training Information) system at www.scoti.ohio.gov. By entering in basic information such as job skills and desired work location, job seekers can search existing local job listings. In addition, staff at The Source uses the SCOTI program to find workers for client companies looking to hire new employees.
