Theatre Vision Season Opens With 'Skippyjon Jones' at the Valentine
by Emily Rippe
Have you ever pretended to be someone else? Skippyjon Jones--a little kitten with huge ears and a wild imagination--is a master at playing the pretend game. Sometimes, he pretends to be a bird, other times he acts like a llama, and once he pretended to be a whale. In fact, Skippyjon Jones would rather be just about any other creature in the world than a Siamese cat. Join Theatre Vision at Lourdes College for the launch of its 27th season with "Skippyjon Jones," based on the award-winning book of the same name. This enchanting musical is sure to encourage children of all ages to follow their dreams. Performances take place at the Valentine Theatre (410 Adams Street) and run on January 13 at 10 a.m. and 12:15 p.m., and January 14 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $14 per adult/$10 per child.
