Traces of Wildlife
by Emily RippeLook closely on the ground! Is it a deer, squirrel, or fox's paw prints? There's still time to register for the kid-friendly Winter Wildlife Tracks and Signs program at Wildwood Preserve on February 5th.

The program is designed for families to search for animal traces and signs with a professional naturalist. Go on an adventure to Susan's Meadow to look for prints, and then head back to Metroparks Hall to create plaster casts of the tracks you spotted. Best of all, you get to take home your own plaster tracks to keep the day fresh in your memory!
The adventures runs on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at Wildwood Preserve. Reservations are limited to 35 people, so book your spot today ($10 per person) by calling 419.407.9723, or visit www.metroparkstoledo.com for more information.
