The Poetry & SOUL Sessions Vol. VI: SOUL LOVE- LOVE JONES Reborn, Revised, & Reinvented

Join your hosts RB Holiday and Lonnie Hamilton as they tap into LIFE, LOVE, & SOUL by recapturing the essence and power of LOVE JONES by celebrating the 15th anniversary of its release. Come and help pay homage to a film that helped shine a light on poetry, spoken word, and how both can be blended with LIFE, LOVE, & SOUL.

This evening promises to be a HOT one! Not only will there be poetry, spoken word, singing, and other forms of artistic expression, there will also be dancing and stepping, and the opportunity to network and connect with Toledo's finest people. Photographer Arthur Stokes will be capturing the essence of the evening so bring your most beautiful smiles with you.

From 7:00pm until 8:00pm, Poetry & Soul Sessions will be having a SOULful Step Session, which will give all attendees an opportunity to ballroom dance/step, and learn some smooth SOULful moves from the masters Keesha Waters and Dwayne Douglas, Sr. SOULful music will be provided by DJ Big Trav on the 1's and 2's.

Starting at 8:00pm, the evening will kick off with a SOUL stirring special presentation, getting on with SOULful features immediately following. The mistress of ceremonies for this SOULful evening will be WTVG's own Alexis Means, who will be taking to the stage along with featured artists:

Following the features, all attendees will again have the opportunity to ballroom dance/step, and socialize for the remainder of the evening. There will also be special prize giveaways throughout the evening.
