Triple Threat of Rock-n-Roll: White Shag, Matt Truman Ego Trip & SLUG

Woodchuck's presents a hard-edged, hip-shakin' show for those in love with the soul of rock-n-roll this weekend with a triple-threat of stellar acts.

Detroit's White Shag tops the bill. The Motor City's primal, tribal sexy rock n' roll band is like Suzi Quatro with The Stones as back up. Acclaimed with press and fans alike, see White Shag once and you be taken in.

Bowling Green's The Matt Truman Ego Trip (pictured) is a big ol' bowl of heavily spiked punch. Big riffs, with tons of hooks and harmonies...think the best of the 70's, Slade and AC/DC jamming together. You wont be able to keep yourself from shaking your ass.

Toledo's own SLUG (on their 3rd moniker now) has been one of the rust belts most prolific recording and live acts for some years now, churning out few full lengths, EP, and a movie soundtrack over the years. SLUG describe themselves as sludge rock, but it's more like rockgrundgemetalbilly. Hard edged but soulful, so unique you gotta see em live to get the full effect.
