Published: 11/01/2012 9:00 am

Start your season right with the delightful Fisher-Price® Little People® Live Holiday Show, Saturday & Sunday, November 10 - 11, in the Zoo’s Indoor Theatre. This exciting musical presentation, free with your regular Toledo Zoo admission, promises fun for the whole family.

With singing, dancing and Yuletide surprises, the Fisher-Price® Little People®, EddieTM, Sonya Lee® and MichaelTM, share the joy of friendship as they discover the true meaning of the holiday season. Show times are 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., and seating is limited; theatre doors will open 30 minutes before show time.

The Fisher-Price® Little People® Live Holiday Show is just one example of the Toledo Zoo’s terrific family deals. The Zoo also features an award-winning year-round children’s zoo, Nature’s Neighborhood, where children learn through play as they encounter animals of all types and develop a lifelong love of the natural world. It’s 100% explore-able and 100% fun!

This year, the Fisher-Price® Little People® Live Holiday Show is the perfect prelude to the Zoo’s Lights Before Christmas presented by KeyBank, starting on Friday, November 16 with the lighting of the “Big Tree,” which Travelocity named one of the top five holiday trees in the U.S. The Lights Before Christmas runs through Monday, December 31 and this year the event offers dynamic new Winter Playland activities sponsored by Taylor Automotive Family. It’s another reason why the Lights Before Christmas has been a cherished part of family holidays since 1986.

The Toledo Zoo is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day) and is located on the Anthony Wayne Trail (US 25), four miles south of downtown Toledo. The Lights Before Christmas runs November 16 December 31, starting at 3pm daily; closing hours vary. For more information, please visit www.toledozoo.org or call 419.385.4040. Lucas County residents are admitted free of charge each Monday from 10 a.m. to noon. ID showing proof of residency is required.
