Garden Tour to Benefit Toledo Day Nursery

In Another Garden, a tour of featuring 10 spectacular home gardens, will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2013. The event will be held in Old Orchard and tickets are $15 in advance or $20 the day of the tour. All proceeds will benefit the Toledo Day Nursery.

Advance tickets are now available at The Andersons, The Andersons Market, Bensell Greenhouse, Black Diamond Garden Center, Creque’s Greenhouse, Hoen’s Greenhouse, Ken’s Flowers, Lily’s at Levis, Rhodes’ Garden Fresh and Schramm’s Flowers.

Shuttle vans will be provided the day of the tour leaving from the Central Academy of Ohio at 2727 Kenwood Blvd. Tickets can be purchased at that location the day of the tour. Local musicians and vendors can be enjoyed in different gardens throughout the day.

Underwriters of the event include the Hylant Group, Leadership Shumaker, Health Care REIT, Schmitz Family Foundation, Paramount Advantage and JL Mechanical.

A preview party that provides a first view of the gardens will be held June 13, 2013 at the Inverness Club. Tickets are $75/person and available by calling 419-243-2627.
