Sat. June 1 ~ Lucas turns 2!
10 a.m. ? 2 p.m.
Come celebrate the second birthday of Lucas the elephant calf! Watch him get presents at 10:30 a.m. and eat?or destroy?cake at 1:30 p.m. McDonald’s is the major sponsor for this event. Free with regular Zoo admission.
Fri. June 7 ~ Vineyard Adventure
7 ? 9 p.m.
Age 21 & up. Enjoy a delectable mix of wine-tasting, hors d’oeuvres, live music and socializing along our dynamic new Wild Walkabout, presented by Mercy. Advance tickets required.
Fri. June 14 ~ PNC ZOOtoDO, presented by Mass Mutual Northwest Ohio
6 p.m. ? midnight
This chic “tuxedoes and tennis shoes” affair mixes outstanding food (served by 50+ regional restaurants and catering services) with fantastic live entertainment throughout an after-hours Zoo. Separate fee; advance tickets required. ZOOtoDO title sponsor is PNC; Mass Mutual Northwest Ohio is the presenting sponsor. Note: on June 14, the historic side of Zoo closes at 2:30 p.m. to prepare for ZOOtoDO.

Explore the fun of hands-on science in Nature’s Neighborhood, the Zoo’s award-winning children’s zoo. Free with regular admission.

Snooze at the Zoo! This month’s Snooze celebrates the dads of the animal kingdom. Meet some cool animals, munch on great food, get exclusive tours and spend the night, too!
Sun. June 16 ~ Father’s Day at the Zoo
10 a.m. ? 4 p.m.
Dads, get free admission when you visit with your child(ren). Games and activities are free with regular Zoo admission, plus an opportunity to enjoy a special BBQ lunch (separate fee).
June 10 ? Aug 16 ~ Summer Safari Camps

This summer, don’t just go to camp; go on safari. The Zoo offers wild opportunities for campers ages 4 through 14. Separate fee.
Wed. June 19 ~ Watch It Grow Garden Tour
10:30 a.m. ? 12 p.m.
Learn how to make the most of your vegetable and herb garden. Free with regular Zoo admission, no reservations needed. Meet at the Conservatory.
Thurs. June 27 ~ Darius Rucker Concert
7 p.m.
Country music sensation Darius Rucker brings his True Believers tour to Toledo. Order tickets in person at the Zoo, at Ticketmaster locations or by phone at 800.745.3000.
The Toledo Zoo is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (starting May 4, weekend hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.), and it is located on the Anthony Wayne Trail (US 25), four miles south of downtown Toledo. ID showing proof of residency is required.
