So begins what has been described as an enchanting novel by Emmy-award winning author Michael Malone titled The Four Corners of the Sky.
 
The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library is excited to announce its participation in Big Library Read (eBook), a pilot program sponsored by OverDrive, with support from publisher Sourcebooks, Inc., in which libraries worldwide offer a single eBook simultaneously to their patrons/customers. The selected eBook is Malone’s The Four Corners of the Sky. OverDrive is a global distributor of eBooks, audiobooks, and other digital content.
 
Malone’s adult fiction eBook is available beginning TODAY to all Toledo-Lucas County Public Library cardholders.

Big Library Read background:
The program spotlights one eBook title for a set time period (now through June 1) for library customers around the world to read simultaneously. According to OverDrive, in addition to creating a global “library book club,” Big Library Read is designed to demonstrate the positive exposure and sales influence library eBook catalogs provide to authors and publishers.
 
About the selected Big Library Read author:
Michael Malone is the author of ten novels, a collection of short stories, and two works of nonfiction. Educated at Carolina and at Harvard, he is now a professor in Theater Studies at Duke University. Among his prizes are the Edgar, the O. Henry, the Writers Guild Award, and the Emmy. He lives in Hillsborough, N.C., with his wife.
