March Events at the Toledo Zoo

Whether March comes in like a lion or goes out like a lamb, the Toledo Zoo is your source for spring family fun!  

Online Discounts
Weekdays through March 17                                   
During the first weeks of March, the Zoo is offering discounted admission coupons to make family fun even more affordable. The 25% off coupon is available online at toledozoo.org and is valid weekdays (Monday through Friday) March 6-10 and 13-17. Guests must present the coupon (printed or digital) at the entry gate to receive the discount. Only one coupon is necessary per transaction and does not apply to groups of 20 or more.

Animal Tales: Animal Families
March 7- 23                                                              
Preschool aged children are invited to attend this three-week educational series. Classes meet three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) for one hour each day. Students will enjoy meeting a live animal, doing a fun craft, playing games and reading stories. More information, including cost, is available at toledozoo.org/classes. Member discounts apply.
 
Snooze at the Zoo
March 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25, 31                        
Spending the night at the Zoo is a wildly good time for families, groups and schools. During the overnight adventure, guests make enrichment for our animals, tour the Zoo, meet animals up close and enjoy delicious catered meals. Each Snooze lasts from 6:30 p.m. - 10 a.m. the next day. Kids’ Night Out
Friday, March 10                                                       
Parents, enjoy a night off while we watch the kids. Drop children ages five to 12 off at 6 p.m. and pick them up by 9 p.m. While at the Zoo, kids will enjoy games, crafts and the chance to meet a live Zoo animal. Pizza will also be provided. Wine Tasting
Friday, March 17                                                       
Ages 21 & up enjoy a delectable array of wines, hors d’oeuvres, live music and socializing surrounded by the historical beauty of the Museum of Science from 7 – 9 p.m. Advanced tickets are required. Separate fee. Member discounts apply. For more information, please visit toledozoo.org/wine.
 
Teddy Bear Care Fair
Saturday, March 25                                                   
Bring your favorite stuffed pal and Zoo volunteers will make sure it’s fixed up and fit for another year of fun! Visitors and their stuffies can also enjoy keeper and vet talks, animal feeds and demonstrations, puppet shows, activities and more. This event runs 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. and is free with Zoo admission. Family Class: Tea with Teddy
Saturday, March 25                                                   
Children ages five-12 are invited to bring their favorite teddy to a tea party at the Toledo Zoo. Come and enjoy a snack along with games and stories while learning about some of the Zoo’s favorite bears. Party-goers will also have the opportunity to make enrichment for Zoo animals and watch as they enjoy the special treat! There will be two party times, 10–11 a.m. and 1-2 p.m. More information, including cost, is available at toledozoo.org/classes.
 
Spring Break Camp
Tuesday, March 28 – Thursday, March, 30             
Need something fun for your children to do that keeps the learning going while on spring break from school? Sign them up for Spring Break Camp at the Toledo Zoo. Campers ages five - 12 will enjoy spending the day exploring animal exhibits, making crafts and enrichment and playing fun games. Each day has a different interactive theme and campers are welcome to sign up for one or more days. More information, including cost and daily themes, is available at toledozoo.org/camps.
