The Toledo Zoo is excited to reveal the first concert announcement for the 2017 Live Nation Concert Series. Straight No Chaser and Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox will perform in the historic Zoo Amphitheatre at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, July 14.
Fans of retro pop sounds with a cheeky modern twist are in for the experience of a lifetime this summer as Postmodern Jukebox and Straight No Chaser join forces for a co-headlining tour! Both bands deliver contemporary pop songs with timeless flair and dedication to craft of a bygone era. Straight No Chaser shirk the blazers and khakis of campus a cappella groups for something far less strait-laced (or straight-faced), training their jaw-dropping vocal prowess and soulful harmonies on past and current hits. Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox re-imagines contemporary pop, rock and R&B hits in the style of various yesteryears, from swing to doo-wop and ragtime to Motown.
An exclusive online pre-sale for Toledo Zoo members will take place through Ticketmaster 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 16 through 10 p.m. on Friday, February 17. The general public will be able to purchase tickets beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 18. At that time, tickets may also be purchased through Live Nation, Ticketmaster or at the Zoo Box Office daily from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
