Start your summer off wild at the Toledo Zoo!

Weekend hours begin 
Saturdays & Sundays, starting May 6                                                    
The Zoo’s weekend admission hours will be 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. Weekday admission hours are 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. until Memorial Day weekend. Additionally, Expedition Africa! Aerial Adventure Course presented by Mercy Health and Tower Ridge Giraffe Experience will be open weekends only until full operation begins on Sat, May 27. Reminder, the Zoo stays open one additional hour after last admission to allow guests to finish their visits. However, many animals may be off exhibit during the last hour.
Kids’ Night Out
Friday, May 5                                                            
Parents, enjoy a night off while we watch the kids. Drop off children ages five to 12 at 6 p.m. and pick them up by 9 p.m. While at the Zoo, kids will enjoy games, crafts and the chance to meet a live Zoo animal. Pizza will also be provided. Snooze at the Zoo
May 5, 6, 12, 13, 20, 26, 27                                       
Spending the night at the Zoo is a wildly good time for families, groups and schools. During the overnight adventure, guests make enrichment for our animals, tour the Zoo, meet animals up close and enjoy delicious catered meals. Each Snooze lasts from 6:30 p.m. - 10 a.m. the next day. Cinco de Mayo Celebration
Sunday, May 7

Mother’s Day Celebration and Brunch
Sunday, May 14                                                        
Moms receive free Zoo admission when they are accompanied by at least one child. Spend the day celebrating Mom and enjoying a whole Zoo’s worth of fun. Be sure to visit and celebrate with our animal moms: Yaz, the orangutan and Renee, the African elephant!
As an optional extra, the Zoo offers a full-service Mother’s Day brunch in the historic Lodge. The buffet, prepared by the Zoo catering department, has two seatings at 9 and 11:30 a.m. For more information, including menu, pricing and registration, please visit
Wine Tasting

Medical Mutual Dart Frog Dash

Summer Season Opening
Saturday, May 27                                                     
The summer fun officially begins at the Toledo Zoo! Zip into summer by spending the long holiday weekend enjoying all the wild fun of the Zoo, including the Aquarium Adventure Trail playground and splash pad, animal demonstrations and feedings, live animal shows and fun activities for the whole family! Beginning Sat, May 27, the Zoo will be open daily 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.
