Average White Band will headline the NW Ohio Music Festival

The best soul and funk band in the history of music, Average White Band will headline the NW Ohio Music Festival on Saturday, June 24! Additional outstanding acts to take the stage at International Park in downtown Toledo include Rhythm & Blues Singer, Songwriter, Tinsley Ellis, Cover band The New Fashioned , plus “Bluz Queen” Claudette King, daughter of blues legend B. B. King, will hold a jam session later in the evening.
“We are thrilled to have these talented and well-known groups play for this fundraiser to benefit the Toledo Northwestern Ohio Food Bank,” said Dianne LaValley Tankoos, Festival Chairperson .
There will be food trucks, beer, and wine and Pepsi products. Tickets are $20 per person and are available online at www.toledofoodbank.org, in person at 24 E. Woodruff Ave, Toledo, OH 43604 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets will also be available for $25 at the door.
The event is held in support of the Food Bank’s vision of a world without hunger; all proceeds from the festival go toward fighting hunger in Northwest Ohio.
