The Maumee Summer Fair has been reinventing itself for the last 39 years and this year will be no different. 2017 marks the 40th year the fair has been held in Uptown Maumee brought to you by the efforts of the Maumee Uptown Business Association and many volunteers.

The event kicks off on Friday night with the Taste of Maumee featuring 14 Maumee Restaurants. The event has three new participants for 2017 with Brandywine Country Club, Barr’s Public House and Saba’s Bistro 1705 completing the lineup. Friday night will also feature a kids fun zone with plenty of games, pony rides and inflatables for the young at heart while the 21 and over crowd will enjoy the music of The 25’s and Not Fast Enuff from 5pm to midnight.

On Saturday August 12th, the morning starts off with over 130 vendors lining the streets from 9am to 5pm ready for your shopping pleasure. The Summer Fair Parade starts off at 10am with plenty of great entries. Other activities to add to your day with us are a Classic Car Show, Chain Saw Artist – Mike Hagar, The Right Direction Bike Demo Team, kids fun zone with inflatables and craft beer tasting from Noon to 5 with the Maumee Palooza Stage of original music. Not to mention the Taste of Maumee with lots and lots of food as well.

As the day goes by the Summer Fair Lot Party will lead us into the 2nd night for the 21 and over crowd inside the fenced beer area. Fu5ion will take the stage at 5pm with one of our favorite bands the Reaganomics at 8pm and closing out the night at midnight. But don’t be discouraged for those under 21, there is an area outside the beer garden that you can still be part of the night and enjoy the music.

The 40th Annual Maumee Summer is the place to be on August 11th & 12th.
