Tree City Playhouse presents Itís a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play

Tree City Playhouse, a community theatre programming effort of the Sylvania Community Arts Commission, will present Joe Landry’s It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play on December 8 and 9 at 7:30 p.m. and December 10 at 3:00 p.m.  Directed by Dave Nelms, this beloved American holiday classic comes to captivating life as a live 1940s radio broadcast.  With the help of an ensemble that brings a few dozen characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve. 

The show features the acting talents of Patrick Boyer, Angela Bylicki, Sue Dessner, Kari Duffy-Shrader, Larry Farley, Madge Levinson, Keith Ramsdell, Dennie Sherer, and Josh Silver. Audiences will also enjoy several familiar Christmas songs presented by Kelly Fandrey, Kristen Fandrey and Elise Hardcastle in the style of the Andrews Sisters.

Performances will take place at Church 3TwentyOne, 5845 Centennial Road, in Sylvania. Tickets are $12 for general admission, $10 for seniors and students, and $8 for children 12 and under.
