On Saturday, April 28 the fourth floor of the Toledo School for the Arts will be transformed into a space to jam out with and enjoy performances by both local and national artists.

Take part in the 11th annual GuitarFest presented by TSA from 10am to 2pm and take master classes, shop around and enjoy performances all day. Michael Weber a 20-year-old guitar phenomenon, winner of “Amazingness” a talent/variety show hosted by Rob Drydek on MTV, will be in attendance. Weber has toured with garage band legends The Counting Crows and The Shadows of Knight. He will be offering master classes and presenting a one hour long concert beginning at 2pm in the Attic Theatre. Also offering workshops are bassist Uncle Lewie, acoustic guitarist Kerry Clark, blues guitarist Aayan Naim, and song writer and The Voice contestant Emily Keener.

A Martin Acoustic Guitar, valued at $799 will be raffled off at the event. Raffle tickets are only $5 and you do not need to be present to win. Raffle tickets may be purchased by contacting Letha Ferguson, Megan Heer, Randy Sobel, or Ken Zuercher at the school. Heer, Sobel and Zuercher will showcase the guitar at gigs in the area, where tickets may be purchased as well.

Musicians of all levels are encouraged to attend to learn from and listen to some terrific artists. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students and are available by visiting the Toledo School for the Arts website at ts4arts.org.
