The Arts Commission is proud to announce Art Loop | Haunted Harvest, to take place on October 18, 2018. Art Loop celebrates the onset of autumn with a spooky celebration of fall favorites. Enjoy family friendly trick or treating, artist pumpkin carving, creative costumes, live music, and lots of scary fun– Costumes encouraged!

ART LOOP INFORMATION

The Art Loop is Toledo’s signature monthly arts experience. Explore the downtown creative community through self-guided tours of the art, artists, and spaces that inspire a vibrant Toledo. The Loop is a program of The Arts Commission, presented in partnership with the artists and participating venues who make it possible. Art Loop takes place each third Thursday of the month April-December, 5:30-9:00 p.m.

Art Loop is free and open to all. Wristbands to ride the Art Loop bus are $1.25 and include unlimited bus rides all evening.

UPDATE: NEW MAIN HUB LOCATION AT IMAGINATION STATION

The Main Library will be closing for the remainder of the 2018 Art Loop season as they embark on exciting new renovations. The Main Hub will now be located at the Imagination Station. Visitors can take advantage of any available street parking or nearby parking garages. We suggest the ProMedica Depo Parking Garage (corner of Summit & Jackson - $5 fee).

Additional Information Stations are located at Handmade Toledo and Hensville.

WAREHOUSE DISTRICT
6-8PM | FREE

Hensville will be a flurry of activity with the first ever downtown hayrides pulled by Clydesdale horses, a pumpkin painting station, rides on the Romick Railway fire truck, along with pony rides, carnival games, bubbles, a petting zoo including: a yak, camel, calf, zebu, wallaby, Arctic fox, miniature donkey, alpaca, llama, guinea pigs, giant horses, hedgehog, tortoise, and bunnies, compliments of Chamberlin Pony Rides & Mobile Petting Zoo. Hayrides $1 per rider. All other activities are free and open to the public.

GHOST BUILDINGS OF TOLEDO TOUR
6:15-7PM | FREE

Toledo has a well-storied history as a center for glass, arts, and innovation. But what about its spookier seedier side? From the mid-1800s until now, Toledo's had its share of scares and scandals scattered throughout downtown's impressive collection of architectural gems... and the parking lots where fascinating buildings and stories once stood. Join the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library's Local History Department for a unique, tantalizing, and educational tour of our city's past. Tours are free and begin at Paula Brown Shop (Stop F) and culminate at River House Arts (Stop Q). Tours begin promptly at 6:15 p.m. Complimentary parking available. Sign-ups close October 17 at 5pm, spaces are limited.

Be sure to join us at 'Trunk or Treat' on Adams St. for family friendly trick-ortreating, gift bags, hands-on activities, face painting, food trucks, music and raffles. SWEET TREAT BAGS TO THE FIRST 100 KIDS: filled with Halloween decorate-a-pumpkin notepads, pencils, crayons, Art Loop buttons and tattoos, sweet treats, glow bracelets, Packo’s at the Park Free Kids Meal coupon, Jupmode You Will Do Better In Toledo stickers, and more! RENAISSANCE HOTEL
FX ZOMBIE MAKEUP CLASS | 5-8PM | FREE

Stop in to the Renaissance Toledo Downtown Hotel and discover how the professionals create FX for zombie makeup. Get yourself prepped for Toledo's annual Zombie Bar Crawl on Adams Street with these complimentary tips & tricks from Amy Lewis & Co! Refreshments will be provided in the main lobby. TOLEDO MUSEUM OF ART
COMMUNITY EXHIBITION FREE ON THURSDAY’S FROM 5PM-9PM

The Toledo Museum of Art is proud to be a stop on the The Art Loop! TMA is offering free admission to view "Rebecca Louise Law: Community" on Thursday evenings from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitors may claim their free timed ticket (one per person) at the information desk upon arrival. Thursday evening tickets will not be available in advance or online. Surround yourself in both dried and fresh plant materials that forms an immersive visitor experience exploring the relationship between humanity and nature, FREE Thursday's 5- 9pm. While you're there be sure to catch public Glassblowing demonstrations taking place in the Glass Pavilion Hot Shop Sign up for the Glassblowing Fall Pick Your Project in the Glass Pavilion Hot Shop, October 18 – 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. | $30.00 for Member, $40.00 for Nonmember.
