Bedford Township, Michigan offers outdoor fun next to Lake Erie in a community of more than 28,000 people. Bedford Township was organized in the 1830s and has grown into an adventurer’s paradise full of outside activities including a large parks and recreation program.

Carr's Grove Park features an indoor community Center, which has a meeting/recreational room with kitchen. Indian Creek Park was recently completed as joint effort of the Bedford Park Commission, the Bedford Township Board and Bedford Public Schools. The park includes of eight ball diamonds and a soccer field.

Parmelee Park features an inline skate/skateboard facility, shelter houses, tennis courts, a lighted baseball diamond and a nature trail. Samaria Park also has an indoor community center and the very large White Park features six ball diamonds, tennis courts and an exercise trail.
