Toledo Zoo
The Toledo Zoo is consistently rated as one of the ten best zoos in the country. Nestled in the old South End neighborhood of Toledo, the facilities reflect the new and the old. The zoo has wonderfully preserved buildings, as well as the latest designs that make the visitor experience second to none. SS Willis B. Boyer Museum Ship
Situated on the Maumee River, in the shadow of downtown Toledo, is the SS Willis B. Boyer Museum Ship. Launched in 1911, the 617-foot freighter was once the largest bulk freighter on the Great Lakes.

Fort Meigs State Memorial
Looking for a fun, historical, educational day trip for the entire family? Then Ft. Meigs, just outside of Toledo, Ohio, is a “must-see.”
Built in 1813 to defend against a British invasion, Fort Meigs is one of the largest wooden walled forts in North America. Located in Perrysburg, Ohio, the rebuilt fort stands on its original site overlooking the Maumee River. The 10-acre fort consists of seven blockhouses, five cannon batteries and several eight-foot-high earthworks within a stockade wall.

The Butterfly House
The Butterfly House, located in nearby Whitehouse, Ohio offers visitors the opportunity to view hundreds of species of butterflies in a beautiful enclosed garden setting.

Toledo Lucas County Public Libraries
The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library is the area leader of information, education and inspiration. By providing an open and equitable access to the Library’s collection, all of Northwest Ohio can enjoy the ‘The People’s University.’

Sandpiper
Built in 1984 in Maumee, Ohio the 100-passenger Sandpiper boat has been providing enjoyable sailing experiences along the Maumee River ever since.

Lakeside, Ohio
Lakeside, Ohio is located on Ohio’s Marblehead Peninsula, in the heart of the Lake Erie vacation area. The 132-year-old Methodist community was created by a group of preachers in 1873.

The Farmers Market
Begun in 1832, The Farmers’ Market of Toledo was a place for area farmers to sell their produce and provide the community with a centrally located place to shop for everything from fresh fruits and vegetables to live poultry.

The Firefighters Museum
Founded in 1976, the Toledo Firefighters’ Museum is dedicated to preserving the history of the Toledo Fire Division as well as educating its citizens about fire prevention and safety.

Libbey Factory Outlet
With a 170+ history with the city, it only makes sense that the largest Libbey Glass Factory Outlet would be located in the heart of downtown Toledo, Ohio. Known as the “Glass Capital of the World,” Libbey Glass moved to the city in 1888 and has been producing quality glass products in the region ever since.

Raceway Park
With live harness racing March thru December and simulcast racing year round, Raceway Park is just the place to put down a bet and hope for the best. Post time is 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights and 6 p.m. on Sundays. Simulcast racing takes place seven days a week.

Schedel Arboretum and Garden
The 17+ acres of gardens offer visitors breathtaking views of both upland and lowland habitats and the opportunity to see many plant species not normally available in our area.

Wolcott House
Just a short drive from downtown Maumee, Ohio along the Maumee River is the Wolcott House Museum Complex. Home of the Maumee Valley Historical Society, the complex takes visitors back to the early 1880’s and gives them a peek at what pioneer life was like in the Maumee Valley.

Toledo Speedway
The ARCA Series has raced at Toledo Speedway since 1963, with its popularity strong in the 1970's. The track has received a 'facelift' in recent years which has quickly made Toledo Speedway regain its famed notoriety of being one of the best short tracks in the country. It is a ½ mile semi banked oval with a ¼ mile figure eight in the middle.

Maumee Bay State Park & Resort
Maumee Bay State Park offers not only the finest of recreational facilities in the Midwest, but also a unique natural environment created by the convergence of the land and Lake Erie. The lodge, cottages and golf course are nestled among the scenic meadows, wet woods and lush marshes teeming with wildlife. The balance of recreational facilities with the natural world gives visitors a diverse experience in a coastal environment. The park boasts a modern family campground with 252 sites. The campsites are open and spacious and border natural meadows and ponds which are open to fishing for campers only. Five miles of asphalt "bicycle/pedestrian" trails provide access to most of the day-use areas. Fishing, hunting, hiking, boating, swimming… Maumee Bay has it all!
