Camp Courageous, Inc.

The mission of Camp Courageous, Inc. is to foster socialization, independence and a better quality of life for people with development disabilities and others in the community through outdoor recreational experiences for all.

Camp Courageous, Inc. encourages socialization, independence and educational opportunities through a community based outdoor recreational program for individuals with developmental disabilities. Our driving goal is to improve the quality of life for people with developmental disabilities through an array of outdoor recreational programs including overnight and day camps for individuals of all ages with special needs. Campers have access to aquatics, arts and crafts, sports, recreation and leisure programs, nature and horticultural programs, drama, cookouts and campfires while at camp. The camp season is not limited to the summer months. The core overnight camp for children and adults with disabilities operates for nine consecutive weeks in June, July and August.
