As a nonprofit organization, the Collingwood Arts Center (CAC) hosts year-round programming from area organizations, including the Children’s Theatre Workshop, Glacity Theater Collective, and various concerts and performances. Many local musicians and artists choose the CAC as their creative space, with rented studios on the second and third floors.

As a historic building set in the Old West End neighborhood, the CAC carries quite a history. The building is the former convent for the Ursuline Order of the Sacred Heart, later housing the Mary Manse College and St. Ursula College. The Center was designed by architect E.O. Fallis, and opened in September 1905. Alhough its Gothic architecture and towering facade have lended the building to tales of paranormal activity, the Collingwood Arts Center is now a centerpiece for the Toledo arts community.
