Our Non-Profit Mission: To promote the education, health, and well-being of each person we serve in Lucas County, Ohio.

Our Vision: To contribute to a healthy and artistically vibrant community.

The organization provides education, social services, and health and safety awareness to residents, migrant workers, and their families. Nuestra Gente has a history of working collaboratively with local health organizations and community partners to assess and address community needs through programs and activities that provide education and promote health. Our programs--mental health first aid education, physical health-free health screenings, HIV awareness, diabetes, breast cancer, and lupus. We also promote artistic disciplines including visual arts, dance, music, theater/performing arts, writing/storytelling, media arts, and interdisciplinary arts by supporting artists here and around the world and creating funds for local charitable organizations through our annual Barrio Latino Arts Festival.

We are dedicated to the health and well-being of individuals and families of Lucas County. Our work is critical to the health of the communities we serve.
