The mission of the Wood County Historical Society is to collect,
preserve, and interpret the history or Wood County and Ohio. We offer
research services, educational programs (for schools/children/teachers
as well as adult organizations), and tours of the Wood County Historical
Museum (self-guided or guided with an educational focus). The Museum
houses artifacts that give us a glimpse into our county's history. We
also rent public rooms and the grounds for weddings, parties, or
business meetings.
