The purpose is to bring together those persons interested in various handicrafts, who accept these aims and objectives:

1.  To inform and educate the general public about crafts and to encourage its wide appreciation;
2.  To upgrade the quality of craftsmanship;
3.  To gather and disseminate information concerning methods, sources of materials, and show listings; and
4.  To establish and operate craft shows and to cooperate with other organizations to do the same.
