Repetoire Theatre

The Toledo Repertoire Theatre, founded in 1933, has provided amazing live theater productions and community arts education in the local area and beyond.

This historic theater shows 11 productions annually at the 16 10th Street Theater located in Toledo, Ohio, plus a holiday musical production of "A Christmas Carol" at the Stranahan Theater and the Franciscan Center at Lourdes College.

“Besides regular public performances, The Toledo Repertoire Theater offers summer camps, drama lessons and free educational shows,” says Gloria Moulopoulos, artist director at Toledo Repertoire Theatre.

The Theater also presents musicals for young children and a high school musical every summer.

More than 500 students, ages 5 to 17 enroll in The Young Rep Theater classes every year to further their talents and learn valuable life skills.

The touring Young Playgoers Series features performances at local schools that further arts education even more.

“We offer many new creative and innovative programs as well,” adds Gloria Moulopoulos. “For example, the new EdgyRepReading program, a one night reading of plays, presents a different format people don’t usually see. The variety of shows really satisfies our audiences.”

The shows wouldn’t be possible without the dedicated volunteers including special crew members, ushers, costume tailors, set construction workers and office help.

Ticket prices are usually $35.00 and below. Groups of 10 or more can get special discount of $3 per ticket. The box office is regularly open Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and one hour before each performance. Paid advance tickets can be held.

Season subscribers get ticket insurance for lost tickets and can exchange their tickets for the same show 24 hours before the ticket date. You can access a season ticket form on-line at www.toledorep.org/SeasonTickets.pdf.

Remember to arrive on time; otherwise…well…you saw what happened to Peter Parker in Spider-Man 2. Smoking is only permitted outside and no video or photographic cameras are allowed.

You can also rent the 10th Street Stage and lobby for meetings, parties and special events.
