GENERAL EVENT NOTICE: Due to recent concern over the spread of the corona virus, Toledo.com suggests confirming with the actual organizers that this event is still proceeding as planned.

Event Details:

Join Young Professionals for Animals and Conservation (YPAC) at the Toledo Zoo at the YPAC After Hours event featuring the Zoo’s local conservation team, Wild Toledo. Spend some time with one of our furry friends, like our giant Flemish rabbit, then learn about Wild Toledo’s local prairie project with Dr. Ryan Walsh, one of the Zoo’s biologists. Dr. Walsh will share their progress to date (40 acres!) and many of the ecological and environmental benefits these wildflowers and prairie grasses bring to our community.

This event is designed for adults ages 21 to mid 40s and will have a cash bar with complimentary appetizers. Be a conservation crusader by bringing recyclable items to donate to the Zoo’s TerraCycle program. View list of recyclable items at toledozoo.org/ypac. This event is free for YPAC members (will receive a promo code via email) and $10 for non-YPAC members. Parking will be available in the Broadway lot and is complimentary for guests. To learn more and register/buy tickets for this event, visit toledozoo.org/ypac.
