Event Details:

Toledo CellulART is a meeting that brings together the art and scientific communities of Northwestern Ohio, Southern Michigan, and Northeastern Indiana to appreciate the link between art and science while also promoting collaboration, interaction, and discussion between researchers working with the cytoskeleton.

This meeting will take place on Friday, September 14th, 2018 at the University of Toledo Center for the Visual Arts, home of the University of Toledo Department of Art – designed by the world-renowned architect, Frank O. Gehry, attached to the Toledo Museum of Art. The day will consist of presentations selected from submitted abstracts and poster sessions for both undergraduate and graduate researchers. This year, we will have Dr. Kenneth Yamada as the keynote speaker, and Dr. Edna Cukiermann for the “scientist/artist” talk.

The event is organized by Luis Cedeno-Rosario and Gabriel Kreider Letterman from the Garcia-Mata Lab
