February has never been so cool (and hot)! Join us and a few thousand of your friends for three days of FREE fun packed into Promenade Park.

ProMedica’s Fire + Ice Festival, presented by Buckeye Broadband, iHeartRadio and Laibe Electric/Technology, will be outdoors and will feature a variety of activities, performances and demonstrations for all ages, including ice sculptures, ice skating, video games on the big screen, a charity soup cook-off, fire throwers, face painting, magicians, stilt walkers, crafts, a zip line, a mobile escape room, characters from Laurel’s Princess Parties, hot chocolate stations, and more. For attendees wishing to warm up during the festival, heated tents will be available. There will also be music and entertainment throughout the festival and food and drink options available for purchase. A spectacular firework display will light up the sky Saturday night to mark the end of the festival.

ProMedica’s Fire + Ice Festival, presented by Buckeye Broadband, iHeartRadio and Laibe Electric/Technology, is in collaboration with Ace Sanitation, City of Toledo, DomeGuys International LLC, Imagination Station, Meredith Party Rentals, One SeaSkate, Renaissance Toledo Downtown Hotel, Sawan & Sawan, Stevens Disposal and The Blarney Irish Pub.

Also announcing The Great Downtown Toledo Soup Cook-Off, a ticketed event allowing tasters to sample soups from 13 downtown restaurants for a fee.Participating restaurants include The Blarney Irish Pub, Focaccia's, Steam Plan Café – ProMedica HQ, the Chop House, The Real Seafood Co., with more restaurants coming soon. Proceeds benefit Friends of Lucas County Children's Services. A separate Facebook event with additional information will be created soon.

The Fire + Ice Festival is FREE, however, please keep the following information in mind:

- Outside food and beverages are prohibited. We will have food trucks on site. Also beer, wine, pop, and water will be available for purchase.

- We reserve the right to inspect all jackets and bags upon entry. Purses, diaper bags and other small personal bags are allowed, but may be inspected at all gate entrances. Please do not bring a purse larger than 6.5″x4.5″x6″. No large bags or boxes are allowed in the park without prior authorization

- The less you bring the easier it will be to pass the security checkpoint.

- We may reserve the right to conduct “pat downs”.

In addition, the following items are not permitted inside Promenade Park:
- Weapons of any kind
- Food or beverage
- Cans, bottles, coolers or other similar containers
- Video cameras, audio recorders or other similar electronic devices
- Cameras (not including cell phones)
- iPads
- Laser pens or laser products
- Air horns or noise makers
- Coolers
- Fireworks
- Glow Sticks
- Aerosol spray cans
- Tools (box cutters, Leatherman or any multi- tool, screwdrivers, etc)
- Pets (except service animals)
- No umbrellas permitted due to blocking other people views.
- ProMedica management reserves the right to make the final determination on prohibited items. In the event that prohibited items are revealed in an inspection, guests will be asked to dispose of the items or return them to their cars before re-entering the park.
