Play by Arthur Miller
Directed by Julie Zatko

Arthur Miller’s profoundly meaningful fictionalized account of the 17th century Salem Witch trials explores what happens when hysteria takes over a society and evil people gain access to power. Miller wrote the play as an allegory for McCarthyism, when the United States government persecuted people accused of being communists. Miller’s masterpiece of the 1950s American stage is still popular today because of themes that emerge timely to every successive era.
