Women of Toledo was established in 2013 to build a community of diverse women and youth advocating for diversity and inclusion with a focus of economic empowerment. With strength in community organizing by its leadership, today the organization effectively offers meaningful, women-focused educational programs, advocacy forums, intergenerational development, dialogue and coaching sessions, as well as mentoring and peer-networking services that are proven to have a high impact in diversity and positive social progress.

Impact: In 2018, the organization served 1219 women and youth with 68% of their participants having accessed to their program and services for FREE. Their Women’s Connection program impacted 187 women by increasing their access to: economic resources, job opportunities, financial services, skills development, and peer-network support.

The WOT mission is to educate, engage, and empower women and young women to keep moving forward.
