Event Details:
Hot stew on a cold day? Music? What's not to love? We'll be passing out backpacks with urban survival gear, food and hygiene to people on the street, but mostly creating an experience of friendship, connection and letting people know we care. Feeling invisible and not belonging is one of the worst feelings in the world.
So if you're a volunteer or need a backpack, or otherwise like music and stew, this event is for you. We'll be needing people to set up tents, unload trucks, pass out backpacks, reup backpacks, guide people for safety, start some great conversations and listen to stories. Backpacks for humans is about treating everyone like a human being, we're all in this thing called life together!
Our mission is simple...to make life easier for those living on the street by giving them basic comforts. See you there!
