Event Details:
Join us from the comfort of your home as we talk with American poet, Nikki Giovanni, and support The Blarney Irish Pub.
In partnership with Momentum and the Arts Commission.
We are excited to continue with an updated virtual model for our Authors! series. The author will join our Executive Director, Jason Kucsma, for an online discussion at 7:00 p.m. There will be time during the event for audience questions submitted through the chat option of either Zoom or Facebook Live.

Three Ways to Participate:
1. Join us FREE on the Library’s Facebook page
2. Purchase a copy of the book to be picked up at your local branch and watch through a secure Zoom link
3. Purchase the Enhanced Experience , and receive a copy of the book and dinner – all delivered to your door! – and watch through a secure Zoom link.
Enjoy the Enhanced Experience with a delicious dinner in your home, including a copy of the book, and then participate in the Zoom discussion. The Blarney Irish Pub will deliver a copy of the book along with dinner between 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. on the day of the event. Your home must be within an 8 mile radius of the restaurant.

About the Author: Nikki Giovanni, poet, activist, mother, and professor, is a seven-time NAACP Image Award winner and the first recipient of the Rosa Parks Woman of Courage Award, and holds the Langston Hughes Medal for Outstanding Poetry, among many other honors. The author of twenty-eight books and a Grammy nominee for The Nikki Giovanni Poetry Collection, she is the University Distinguished Professor of English at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia.
