The What to Eat When Cookbook: 135+ Deliciously Timed Recipes is packed with recipes made with the best foods for healthier living, disease prevention, better performance, and a longer life. With tasty options for snacks, apps, pasta, sandwiches, chicken, fish, dessert, and everything in between, this cookbook provides a variety of meals to happily extend your life by years.
Acclaimed internist Dr. Michael Roizen of Cleveland Clinic; Jim Perko, executive chef Cleveland Clinic’s Centers for Integrative and Lifestyle Medicine, and Dr. Michael Crupain, medical director of “The Dr. Oz Show,” combine strong science and delicious ingredients to help readers eat well – and live with vigor longer. Each dish includes details about the nutrients, benefits of the ingredients, what portion size to eat when, expert cooking tips, and helpful substitutions that won’t put a damper on flavor.
The What to Eat When Cookbook begins with a brief overview of the “When Way” that explains the importance of meal timing and offers food-based solutions to life’s daily challenges – and gives you the key to making intermittent fasting healthy and easy. Food should be a relationship—so you only chose to eat foods that both taste great and love your body back. Readers will learn to embrace the power of eating dinner for breakfast and “cold carbs,” a quirky but effective idea that puts grains back on the table. The book also features tools, tricks, and tips to make cooking fast and fun.
Alongside tantalizing color photographs, this comprehensive cookbook contains recipes for every part of the day.
Whether you’re looking to increase longevity, reach peak physical performance, prevent illness, or simply make a change, look no further than The What to Eat When Cookbook.
