Reservations Required, Fee: $35
Learn new kayaking skills to take your paddling enjoyment to the next level. This class includes advanced paddling strokes to help you fine-tune your boat control and practice rescuing a capsized boat. Recommended for beginner to intermediate paddlers. Kayaking 101 class or previous kayaking experience is recommended as a pre-requisite for this class. This class is not for first time paddlers.
Dress to get wet and wear synthetic clothing (nylon, spandex, or polyester, no cotton). Wear old tennis shoes, water shoes, or sandals with a heel strap (no flip flops). Bring water and sun protection. Please leave all valuables at home. We will provide all boats, life jackets and other gear. Please bring a change of clothes and a towel. This program runs rain or shine. Minors must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program. Please register all participants.
