Prayer Breakfast July 15 at Glass City Metropark; Parade July 16 starts at Dorr and Detroit.
This year’s honorees include Sonia Flunder-McNair of Sonia Organics and Urban Wholistics; Adam Levine of the Toledo Museum of Art; Willie Perryman of NAACP; Suzanne Rorrick of Toledo Opera; and David Ross of The Arts Commission. Zahra Aprili Collins of the Toledo Urban Federal Credit Union will be the Masters of Ceremony of this year’s breakfast.
The parade will follow on Saturday, July 16. at 10 a.m. It will start on the corner of Dorr St. and Detroit Ave.,− traveling down Dorr St. towards Collingwood Blvd. turning south at City Park towards Indiana Ave, turning west on Indiana Ave, and continuing towards Detroit Ave. − and end at Nelson Grace Park. Here, a community fun day filled with family activities, entertainment, food, and fellowship will take place after the parade.
