Event Details:
Lucas County Poet Laureate, Jonie McIntire and Sofia Quintero Cultural Center are proud to present a poetic celebration featuring the award-winning poet Manuel Iris along with Toledo-area poets Don Cellini and Kayla Marie Williams. Writers, musicians and performers are invited to join the open mic to share their poetry, short stories, and music celebrating Latinx heritage. Local visual artists including Yvette Reyes and Raven Adams will display their work, and People Called Women, Toledo’s very own bookshop on wheels, will be there to celebrate as well!
Light cash bar will be available. No cover charge, though donations are very gratefully accepted and help to pay the artists and support the venue.
