Event Details:
The Wood County Plant Exchange, an all-volunteer event, will give away about a thousand plants of all types at the Wood County Fairgrounds, 13800 W. Poe Rd., Bowling Green. Donate your labeled, weed-free, healthy plants and gardening-related items between 8:30 a.m. and 9:50 a.m. and check out the booths and vendors.
At 10 a.m., the "shopping" area opens and people are admitted at short intervals. Plants are organized into categories ranging from edibles, ground covers, bulbs and tubers, to daylilies, grasses, houseplants, and paraphernalia. Everyone can take home plants: bring more, take more. Master Gardeners will be available to answer questions. It's winding down by 10:30 a.m. Info: FB and 419-354-9050.
