Promote the practice of sustainable fashion by repairing your own clothes! Millions of tons of clothing are thrown away each year in the U.S. alone. Using beginner embroidery and sewing skills, people of nearly all ages can learn to save fabric from landfills. Save the earth (and your wallet!) by bringing pieces in need of some TLC. Those ripped jeans, holey shirts, and old tote bags in the back of your closet will thank you.
