On the April 3rd First Friday, we are dedicating the “Roots of Sylvania” mural in honor of our history and this year’s America 250 celebration.

Dani Fuller of Fuller Art House is taking a leap of faith and expressing an urgent need that our community (and beyond) comes together to celebrate our light and the roots on which we were founded – with this North Star (our moral compass and light) - designed directly from the mural itself.

The Underground Railroad was crucial as a courageous resistance movement. And to this day, Sylvania, Ohio celebrates its history and position as a refuge and safe harbor during a very powerful and political climate.

Her hope is that we can come together to remind Sylvania that we are still a refuge and safe Harbor today.

Wear your shirts and sweatshirts on April 3rd and let us fill this town with stars!

Fuller Art House will also host a star gathering exhibit and celebration after the dedication.
