This month: Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Kimmerer
A lyrical blend of science and traditional ecological knowledge, Braiding Sweetgrass explores our relationship with nature through the lens of reciprocity and gratitude. We’ll reflect on the ways in which traditional knowledge and modern science can work together for the betterment of all, from the small scale of our own yards to nation-wide conservation efforts. Once everyone is feeling particularly in-touch with their surroundings, the group will extend the experience with a guided garden tour highlighting some of Ohio’s most important native plants.
