Freighter Golf: Around the Great Lakes on board the National Great Lakes Museum Ship

Join us for Freighter Golf: Around the Great Lakes, presented by Savage and Associates. Enjoy a month-long hole-in-one contest onboard the Col. James M. Schoonmaker Museum Ship in June! Included with Museum Ship admission, this unique experience invites you to explore the National Museum of the Great Lakes while taking a swing (or two!) on our custom-built putting greens.

We’re featuring five holes, each representing one of the Great Lakes. As you try your shot on our course, explore iconic landmarks from each lake and immerse yourself in the history and beauty of the region.

Plus, anyone who scores a hole-in-one will be entered to win tickets to the Greater Toledo Classic golf tournament and a free museum membership!

The five putting greens will be open for use from June 1 through June 30. Access to the vessel’s putting greens is included with Museum Ship admission and free for members and Museums for All participants.
