Family Campout Fun-Night at Harrison Park in Pemberville

Bring the family and join the park district in celebrating the Great American Backyard Campout with an evening full of camping-related outdoor activities!

Come between 6 – 9 pm to enjoy campfire snacks, backyard games, outdoor challenges and scavenger hunts, nature trivia, a kickball game, and stories ‘round the campfire! Bring your own chairs to sit and relax around the fire, or a tent and blanket to add to the ambience.

Naturalist led activities include River Wading and Fish Seining 6:30-7:30 pm, Kickball 7:30-8:15 pm, Nature Trivia around the fire 8:15-8:45 pm, and Campfire Stories 8:45-9:00 pm. Camping overnight not permitted. In remembrance of the 250th birthday of the United States, this program series showcases the history of Wood County and as well as boosting the community spirit through outdoor activities and events!
