'Night Mother- A Pulitzer-Prize Winning Play at The Village Players

The Village Players Theatre is proud to present ’Night, Mother, the Pulitzer Prize–winning drama by Marsha Norman, on stage July 10–12.

Friday and Saturday- 7 pm 

Sunday- 2 pm 

This powerful and intimate play follows a mother and daughter over the course of one evening as they navigate a deeply personal and emotionally charged conversation. With its focus on family, honesty, and difficult truths, ’Night, Mother remains one of modern theatre’s most impactful and thought-provoking works.

The production brings together a dedicated local cast and creative team committed to telling this story with care, sensitivity, and emotional depth. Audience members can expect an intimate staging that highlights the script’s quiet intensity and human connection.

The Cast Includes: Cindy Bilby as Mama and Elise Woods as Jessie. 

This production is especially significant for cast member Cindy Bilby, who returns to the script in a full-circle moment. Bilby previously performed the role of the daughter in ’Night, Mother and now steps into the role of the mother, bringing a unique depth of experience and perspective to the production.
